Aurora Angels
Inspired by a recent sighting of the Aurora Borealis these stained glass aurora angels have been hand crafted using the Tiffany stained glass technique.
I have used an exquisite German mouth blown gold pink glass with beautiful streaks of colour to reflect the dancing ribbons of light found in the northern lights.
The aurora borealis is visible due to charged particles from the sun colliding with the earth's magnetic field so it seemed very fitting to use a glass that is created using particles of gold.
Due to the nature of the glass each angel within this very limited edition is totally unique.
Perfect to hang in a window or to adorn your Christmas tree.
