The Elder tree is revered in Irish folklore as a tree of protection and the domain of faerie folk. When planted near a home it is said to ward off evil spirits and protect the household from witches.

It supports a healthy blood supply and is a powerful anti-inflammatory. Once the flowers have faded the Elder tree produces clusters of jewel-like black berries which are a rich source of vitamin A & C.

Please note that this item is made in the traditional method using lead and is therefore not suitable for children. We recommend washing your hands after handling.
