Antique Irish Bobbin Lace Pendant
This unique pendant has been created using an exquisite piece of handmade 19th century antique Irish bobbin lace sourced from a local antique fabric specialist.
Handcrafted in my studio on the shores of Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland, this pendant measures 38mm in diameter and hangs from an adjustable 32 inch black Habotai silk cord. The length can be adjusted using the sliding knots.
The section of lace selected for this piece features a beautiful sunflower motif. The sunflower is a symbol of unconditional love and unwavering faith making this the perfect gift for your loved one to express how much you adore her.
The warm ivory coloured lace is encased in domed clear glass cabochons and is sealed using the Tiffany stained glass technique.
