Beetle wing earrings with sterling silver ear wires.
These unique earrings are created using real beetle wing cases known as elytra from a jewel beetle.
These metallic iridescent wings change colour depending on the angle from which they are viewed. Predominantly green they also appear as blue, purple and turquoise.
Each earring is made up of 10 beetle wings hand graded in size and colour to ensure a perfect match. They are then linked together with sterling silver rings and finished with a sterling silver ear wire with coil and bead detail.
Handcrafted in my studio on the shores of Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland.
As with all my nature jewellery these wings are ethically sourced.
